Vilius Benušis is a lecturer at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania, where he focuses on the intersection of law, technology, and data protection. He is also a legal expert with over a decade of experience in data protection and GDPR compliance. His academic work engages with the legal challenges posed by emerging technologies, with a particular interest in privacy, data governance, and regulatory frameworks within the EU.
Today, he will be presenting on “Post-Quantum Pseudonymisation in AI-Driven Healthcare: Transparency, Security and Liability Risks,” exploring how post-quantum cryptography affects current approaches to pseudonymisation, patient autonomy, and legal responsibility in the European Health Data Space.
