Baglivo Francesco
Francesco Baglivo is a physician specializing in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine and pursuing a PhD in Public Health as part of the Clinical and Translational Sciences program at the University of Pisa. His research centers on utilizing machine learning and digital health technologies to improve the monitoring of vaccine uptake and tackle vaccine hesitancy with immunization information systems. Moreover, he is working on infectious disease epidemiology, healthcare-associated infections, travel medicine, and the use of artificial intelligence in public health. Francesco is a co-founder and board member of the Italian Society of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (SIIAM) and is a steering committee member of the Digital Health & AI section of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA).
